Profile

Mr. Abhilash Gupta practises as an Associate in the Litigation team, with a focus on intellectual property rights disputes and commercial dispute resolution. He is a 2019 Graduate from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi with his degree in BBA.LLB (Hons.). He is an advocate registered with the Bar Council of Delhi and member of Delhi High Court Bar Association.

 

Mr. Gupta is focused on handling litigation related to trademarks and copyrights before various High Courts and District Courts. He assists and advises clients, both foreign and Indian in developing efficient and effective strategy in enforcing their intellectual property rights in India. His practice area primarily includes litigation for enforcement and protection of IP assets in matters of infringement, passing off and counterfeiting. He has also completed Courses on Intellectual Property Rights by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and General course on Intellectual property rights from WIPO Academy.

 

He has around 4 years of practical experience working as a professional in the field of Intellectual Property Rights. Prior to joining Krishna & Saurastri Associates LLP in 2023, he worked as an attorney with reputed IP law firms, where he gained experience in the areas of trademark and copyright litigation, trademark prosecution, trademark oppositions and cancellations.
