Anjali Chawla is a Patent Attorney specializing in pharmaceutical and chemical innovations. With several years of experience, she advises clients on the protection and management of patent rights across a wide range of technologies within the pharmaceutical and chemical domains. Her technical expertise spans diverse areas, including renewable polymers, nanostructured materials, organic molecules, fuel and hydrogen technologies, clean energy solutions, pest control compounds, polymer compositions, catalysis, intermediate drugs, petrochemicals, and inorganic materials.

 

Anjali's practice covers the complete patent life cycle, encompassing strategic patent drafting, comprehensive patentability and prior art searches, prosecution support, hearings, and effective management of patent portfolios. She works closely with clients to develop robust intellectual property strategies aligned with their commercial and research objectives.

 

Prior to joining Krishna & Saurastri in 2019, Anjali gained valuable industry experience at MNC and Indian Pharmaceutical company, where she worked in Regulatory Affairs. This background has provided her with a strong understanding of the technical, regulatory, and compliance challenges faced by pharmaceutical companies, enabling her to deliver practical and industry-focused patent solutions. She holds an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, an LL.B. from Mumbai University, and a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights.
