Profile

Ashwini Khalapurkar is a Senior Associate and Advocate in the Trade Marks Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates LLP. Her practice areas include trade mark filing, prosecution, oppositions, and attending hearings at the Trademarks Registry.

 

She holds a Masters Degree in Law (Environmental Law) from Mumbai University and a Bachelor's Degree in Law from New Law College, Mumbai and a Bachelor's of Arts (Political Science) from Ramnarain Ruia College. She is registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. She holds a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from Government Law College.

 

Before joining the firm, Ashwini was an independent practitioner handling trademark prosecution and litigation matters for her clients. Ashwini also worked at a reputed boutique IP law firm as an attorney handling trademark prosecution and litigation matters. Additionally, Ashwini also worked as an Examiner of Trade Marks and Geographical Indications at the Trade Marks Registry, Mumbai for 3 years where she dealt in Examination Section, Vienna Codification, RTI, Registration Section. She was also a visiting faculty in various reputed Law and Management Colleges.
