Ms. Maitrayee Sinha is an Associate at Krishna & Saurastri Associates LLP.

 

Ms. Sinha is a BA.LLB graduate from Amity Law School Delhi, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. She is registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi and has three years of experience in the field of IP prosecution, opposition and enforcement.

 

She handles contentious prosecution and opposition matters and holds experience in Trade Mark clearance searches, filing Trade Mark, Copyright and Design applications, Trade Mark oppositions, Trade Mark rectifications, licensing and assignment agreements, enforcement matters such as issuing cease and desist notices. She also exhibits expertise in portfolio management of retail brands in India and abroad. Apart from IP matters, she deals in various types of commercial contracts. She has advised many software companies, FMCG companies, international law firms etc., on viability and feasibility of the Indian Trademarks, Copyrights and Designs Law and has represented them before various IPO Registries.
