Riten is a Associate Patent Partner in the Engineering Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates L.L.P. His practice areas include patent drafting, patent prosecution, patentability searches, FTO clearances, infringement and invalidity opinions in the field of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. Riten has over several years of experience in intellectual property during which he worked for top tier IP Law firms in India. Prior to beginning his career in IP, Riten worked in the electronics and semiconductor industry for more than 7 years. Riten is a Registered Patent Agent and a Registered Trademark Agent. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Mumbai, a Bachelor in Laws Degree (L.L.B) from University of Mumbai, a Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law & Practice from Institute of Intellectual Property Studies (IIPS) - Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai, and Diploma in VLSI Design from Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) - Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) Pune.
