Profile

Mr. Sunny Asarpota is an Associate Partner and is in charge of the Ahmedabad Office of Krishna & Saurastri Associates LLP. His practice area mainly includes filing, prosecution and oppositions of the Trademarks, Copyright and Designs. He also deals in matters relating to infringement, passing off and counterfeiting under Intellectual Property Laws.

 

Before Joining Krishna & Saurastri, he had litigation experience of 4 years and was handling cases and counseling clients under Intellectual Property Law, Indian Contracts Act, Competition Law, Arbitration & Conciliation Act, Co-operative Societies law, SARFAESI Act, Family Law and the Negotiable Instruments Act.

 

Mr. Asarpota started his professional career in the field of Intellectual Property Laws and subsequently ventured out in other fields of Law to gain further knowledge and skill. Eventually, his passion for Intellectual Property Laws confined him to the said field.

 

Mr. Asarpota has appeared and conducted hearings before various judicial forums in Ahmedabad such as the Trademarks Registry, the City Civil Court, the Metropolitan Magistrate's Court, the District Court, the Family Court, Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, the Debt Recovery Tribunal as well as the Gujarat High Court.

 

Mr. Asarpota holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Gujarat National Law University, Ahmedabad. He is registered with the Bar Council of Gujarat.
