Mr. Vidyadhar Bhanage is a Partner at Krishna & Saurastri Associates LLP. His main practice areas include patents and designs. He has more than a decade experience in handling patent matters including harnessing of inventions, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, appearing before the Indian patent office. He advises clients on patent oppositions and revocations. He also provides opinions on patentability, freedom to operate, invalidity and infringement of patents. From time to time, he has also assisted in patent protection for clients in foreign countries including USA, Japan, China and European jurisdictions. His technical expertise lies in handling inventions in the field of mechanical and chemical engineering. Vidyadhar also advises clients on industrial design rights. Prior to joining the firm, Vidyadhar also has an industrial experience of working in a CSIR governed laboratory, largest pharmaceutical company in India, and local IP law firms. Vidyadhar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He is a registered Patent Agent at Indian patent office and also registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.
